how to change colors mid row
In this video I show you guys my personal technique for changing colors mid-row.
Mind you, there are a few ways to do this and I encourage you to figure out what works best for yourself.
Happy crafting my friends... and happy holidays from my needles to yours.
BLACK to the grind
Hey guys, I'm sorry that it has been a while since you have heard from me. For now, I'm back and ready to roll.
I thought it would be a good idea to talk about Black Friday in this post. Ahh yes, Black Friday, that one day of the year when people lose their minds in the name of savings.
Much to my fiancé's chagrin I dragged her out of bed at 5:30 AM, in order to be first in line at Michael's for their contribution. They were giving away five dollar gifts cards to the first twenty people in line.
As you would guess, I spent my five dollars on a gorgeous skein of emerald green worsted, to be used on mittens. I also picked up a skein of apple green dishcloth yarn, to be used to make products for the upcoming convention season. My fiancé spent her gift card on a few bolts of fabric that she will use to make beds for our pet rats.
I would love love love to hear about your Black Friday hauls!!! If you would like to share, please leave a remark in the comment section.
